Admission Requirements

General Requirements

To join St. Kizito Vocational Training Institute, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Requirements

  • KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) and above
  • KCPE Certificate with minimum 250 marks
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for Artisan courses
  • Previous relevant work experience may be considered

Required Documents

  • Original and photocopies of academic certificates
  • National ID/Birth Certificate
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • School leaving certificate
  • Letter of recommendation from previous school/employer

Course-Specific Requirements

  • KCSE Mean Grade D+ (Plus) with at least D+ in Mathematics and Physics/Physical Science
  • Good color vision and physical fitness
  • Basic computer literacy

  • KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) with at least D+ in Mathematics and Physics
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Basic technical understanding

  • KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain)
  • Good personal hygiene
  • Interest in culinary arts
  • Basic English communication skills

Additional Information

All certificates must be verified by the issuing institutions. Foreign certificates must be equated by the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA).
